The Sea-to-Sky corridor in Beautiful British Columbia is steeped in beauty. The Coastal Mountains emerge from the fjords of Howe Sound - sculpted by plate tectonics, volcanoes and glaciers - creating a playground of rain forests, snowpack fed rivers, and high mountain alpine. Weather systems driven by the collision of relatively warm ocean currents and cool, high mountain winds provide low, moody clouds and an abundance of snow.

On the western shore of Vancouver Island, exposed to the raw Pacific weather, lies the small surf town of Tofino which is rich with rain forests, deep sandy beaches and rocky coastline. Whether soaking up the golden sunset or bracing against raging storms these seascapes always leave one with a sense of calm stillness and awe. Long exposures let the dynamic details fall away and allow the images to display that sense of peace and to illuminate the strength of the landscapes holding fast against the forces of nature.
